That's nice. How does it handle long-context reasoning compared to Fable 5?
I've been testing it fully now for the last two days and it does pretty well, much better than Opus 4.8 and not as great as Fable, but pretty close to it.
Congrats on the launch. The price move matters more than the benchmark bump - halving the cost of the top tier is what decides whether long-running agents stay a demo or actually go to production. Nice work to the team.
My opinion about Claude 5 vs 4.8 is kinda mixed. Too soon for some solid opinion but I haven't noticed "wow" yet.

Love it! I now prefer Opus 5 over Fable 5. I’m working with a smarter model that is more accurate and detailed, while using fewer tokens!
