I am ridiculously late coming to the AI table. I saw a few really bad outputs in the very early days and decided that AI was a bad ideas and could never be as good as a human could produce. I was wrong. After seeing various communities using the tool for different purposes I decided to give it another go. I pasted in my blog post (that I wrote) and asked it for 10 tweet variations that would attract readers. These were better than anything I would have come up with. I am naturally self deprecating, ChatGPT is going to be my new marketer and may well help draft some of the more fact based information in my blogs. I'm sold.

As a founder, I love using ChatGPT as a virtual business partner for brainstorming and refining ideas. As a developer I find it an incredible tool for speeding up coding or handling various mundane tasks. In some cases I have used it to generate code for domains completely unfamiliar to me. However, this has oftentimes resulted in horrendous bugs. While helpful, it’s no substitute for thorough documentation or valuable peer feedback.

Non-English text in image is often generated incorrectly, and once the image is produced, it’s hard to edit the text separately or modify specific areas. It would be great to have a canvas feature that allows easier, more flexible editing.

vs Alternatives

GPT keeps surprising me — with how she remembers and connects things. I usually ask her to handle work stuff, but when I let her analyze me, she somehow understands me so well. Kinda feels like having my own Samantha in short future.
