What do you think? …

Elie Steinbock
Hey Hunters šŸ‘‹ As a founder, I take a lot of calls. People book meetings and I often have no idea who they are or what context exists in my inbox about them. Before each call, I'd spend time Googling attendees and digging through emails to piece together the backstory. So we built Brief My Meeting. Now I get a briefing email 4 hours before every call with: - Research on who I'm meeting - Any email history we have summarized - Previous meetings and what was discussed - Relevant attachments surfaced automatically I walk into every call prepared without doing any of the work. The product is fully open source. You can see exactly how your data is handled, or self-host for maximum privacy. šŸ¤ Try it free: https://www.briefmymeeting.com Here's to better meetings in 2026! @elie222Ā That’s something I usually do manually. Thank you!!

Malek Moumtaz

@elie222Ā This solves a very real pre-call scramble. How do you handle information accuracy and trust, for example, making sure summaries or inferred context don’t misrepresent someone or surface outdated assumptions right before a live conversation?

Elie Steinbock

@malekmoumtazĀ it's a tough one and something we'll continue working on improving. The brief itself is sent a few hours before the call, so won't be based on outdated internal information.

In terms of the research on the people in the call, that's dependent on the results the web search results we get back and other APIs, that's a harder one to get right.

I would defo plug it in my stack if it also pulled data from my CRM when preparing a briefing. Do you consider to expand the sources of the information in the future? Kudos on the launch!

Elie Steinbock

@davidkaufmannĀ hey, definitely looking to add this! We already integrate with a few tools for other parts of Inbox Zero (our core product), and looking to bring parts of this to the meeting briefs. Which CRM do you use?

David Kaufman

@elie222Ā It used to be an Airtable database, but we are now considering to use Hubspot or any other cheaper option

Nika

If I understood correctly, does it care about your whole workflow (before + during + after the meeting), right?

Elie Steinbock

@busmark_w_nikaĀ just before the meeting!

Researches who you're speaking to and finds context from email and calendar history!

Nika

@elie222Ā aaa, okay, gotcha.

What are the privacy measures put in place?
Elie Steinbock

@yeva_menshikovaĀ

Great question!

  1. We're SOC-2 compliant

  2. We're open source. Sou can read all our code, and for Enterprises we even offer on-premise deployments so you have maximum privacy.

  3. We store as little data as possible. We never store your email contents

i love this idea because I’m always scrambling before meetings. Getting a clear AI brief straight to my inbox would save me time and mental load. Open source makes it even more appealing to me
