Asmi calls you every morning. You talk - it handles the day. It calls services (dentist, salon, plumber, bank, insurance) or people (friends, colleagues) to coordinate, book or resolve things. Updates you on iMessage or WhatsApp when done. It can navigate IVRS, wait on hold and handle complex conversations well.
It started with a phone call from a close friend from my PhD days.
After a little chit-chat and a lot of catch-up, he asked me if I wanted to build something that actually helps people. Not in a vague, hand-wavy way but genuinely does the things you don't want to do yourself, and helps you do the things you actually care about, better.
The outbound call thesis is interesting - handling the messy phone-mediated workflows is genuinely the hard part of agent execution. One compliance layer worth building in now: Article 50(1) of the EU AI Act requires voice AI agents interacting with people in the EU to identify themselves as AI at the start of the call. For an agent calling a dentist's receptionist on behalf of a user, the opening line needs to be something like: "Hi, I'm an AI assistant calling on behalf of [user name] to [purpose]." That's also good caller experience - businesses responding to calls appreciate knowing what they're talking to. This obligation sits with whoever deploys the agent (Asmi), not just the underlying model provider. The August 2 deadline is 48 days out. If EU expansion is on the roadmap, building the disclosure into the call-start template now is much easier than retrofitting it later.
The clinic's website is broken. The second number rings forever. The third transferred me to a voicemail from 2019. I've been at this for 45 minutes. The appointment itself takes 20.
We’ve actually had a couple of inbounds about this already and plan to start working on a B2B version and API over the next few weeks. For languages, Asmi natively supports a wide global range including English, Spanish, Hindi, and Mandarin, among many others.
If you'd like to integrate this into your startup, drop your email ID and we’ll loop you into our B2B pipeline as soon as it's ready!

I just configure eleven labs with my hermes agent & it almost does the same. The question I keep coming back, do we need new interfaces for every other agent capability
@gaurav_singh91 Thanks Gaurav - and congrats on wiring that up, genuinely cool.
You've hit on our core thesis. Our answer: no new interfaces at all. Asmi has none - no app, no setup. It lives in WhatsApp/iMessage, and the call itself is the interface.
On the DIY setup: it makes a great demo that works 70–80% of the time. But managing your task list with it every single day - follow-ups, retries, context across days, navigating IVRS, perfecting it on real-world use cases - the last 20-30% takes a very different level of effort.
And our challenge is making this work for millions of users, reliably and consistently, where they never think about agents, prompts, or systems at all. They just say it once, and it's done.
That gap is the entire company. Would love your feedback if you try it 🙂

It's VERY interesting, but even when prompted to call in Arabic which you support, the call ended up being initiated in English. Then I corrected that, she Asmi still started the conversation in English. When told that in ARABIC if it speaks Arabic, reply was in English. When replied back to English saying "Sorry I don't speak great English, do you speak Arabic??" Thats when Arabic mode was activated :) This part is super buggy... Are you aware of this? (+ there was sudden changes in languages suddenly into unknown languages, my guess is Tagalog (Philippines)...) and then when prompted again in ENGLISH to please speak in Arabic, that's where Asmi got back to Arabic.
I'd appreciate if you can tell me a word or two on that, because I love the service and it's point on, except for these accuracies.... @Asmi AI
@syed_shayanur_rahmanYes to that and any real world task that consumes your time while you want to heads down focus on growing your business and spending time with your family. Asmi is here to handle it all!
@syed_shayanur_rahman I had gotten so used to hold music that I started to enjoy it. Stockholm Syndrome, perhaps? But with Asmi, I can finally go back to my Spotify playlists.

came in fully expecting another "ai assistant" that does nothing. but waiting on hold and dealing with those awful IVR menus and actually getting the thing done is the part everyone usually skips. that's the annoying 20%. didn't expect to be into this but here we are
@iamanantgupta That is exactly what Asmi is designed for—handling those endless life admin chores so that both of you can offload the mental load and focus on what matters most to you.
We’d love to know what she thinks once she hands off that first task to Asmi!
@alexander_gray3 Calling is only step 1. Getting that appointment booked, or making sure the cake you ordered will be ready is where it's really at. The magic is in closing the loop!
Is there a B2B version with an API? Which languages are supported? I’d be interested in integrating something like this into my startup.

@natalia_iankovych Thanks Natalia for the interest!

As a founder, hold music might be my biggest productivity killer. Love this concept.

@iamanantgupta Ideal scenario: Both of you use it and you get double the work done!
Really interesting execution. The AI that calls people category feels ready to explode. 💥
