Quick story:
7 months ago I wasn't even applying to accelerators yet, just curious about fundraising, so I posted on r/Moroccopreneur asking for advice. @bengeekly replied with the comment in the screenshot above, telling me accelerators with a fixed process (EF, YC etc) are the move at that stage, apply, interview, get a real Yes or No.
Fast forward to today, I'm actually raising for my interview platform and I hit exactly that wall, spending weeks filling out accelerator forms, same info rephrased 100 times 😅
@bengeekly shows me the spreadsheet of accelerators he had going and we both instantly saw it, why not make it know what each program asks and pre answer it for you?

Do you somehow affiliate with any of those accelerators? I mean partnerships in the future to strengthen the position of the tool. :)

@busmark_w_nika Great question! Not at the moment, we are focused on getting the matching and form filling right first. But we are very open to partnerships down the line, accelerators, incubators, anyone working with early stage founders. If you have any in mind or want to connect on that, happy to chat 🙏

We believe accelerators can benefit a lot from us. Their objective is to find the best profiles, not the people who became specialists at answering forms. YC partnering with Product Hunt to reach more founders is a good example: with the right filters, a program gets better founders, not more noise.
And on our side we don't only take a form. We also get the data from the founder's ChatGPT conversations, so what we send is real facts about the company and the team, not a story polished for the application.
So yes, partnerships are in the plan. If a program is reading this and wants to test it with us, we are open 🙏

When @bengeekly showed us ApplySeed, the idea was pretty simple: turn his list into something founders could actually use. Yesterday we basically said: why not launch it tomorrow?
So here we are !!
We started building with Astra, and that’s when the idea changed. We ended up building an agent that finds the right opportunities, prepares the answers from your profile, and fills out the applications for you. With Astra and browser-use, we were able to build most of it. We started with a directory. Now @ApplySeed can actually do the applying for you.

Every week someone sends me a message: "How do I raise?"
Most of the time the honest answer is: you can't, not yet. It is too early. And the worst part is that many "early stage" investors never say it. They politely ask for a business plan, they ask to stay in touch… and the founder keeps waiting instead of focusing on selling and building.
That is how founders lose three, four, six months. They take calls, they send decks, they follow up. The no would take one minute, but it never comes.
So I started to collect the programs that actually accept founders at this stage, and my main criteria was simple: do they give a clear yes or no? I put them in a directory. It was my way to answer that question without repeating myself.
I went through Y Combinator myself, and for an early team an accelerator is still the most honest door: you apply, you get an answer, and you move on. The problem is that applying is heavy. Every program asks the same things in a different form, and you rewrite your story ten times.
So we spoke with @anas_chhilif and @amraniyasser , we used Astra, and we transformed my list into a tool. Applyseed.com now finds the programs that fit you and applies for you.
We decided this launch literally yesterday and finished the platform right after, so today will be tight. Please test it and tell us everything, also the parts you don't like. We will share the whole experience of this launch with you, good and bad. 🙏

Really smart problem to solve 👏
Running @Mailwarm, YC-backed SaaS, I know how much the right accelerator can change the trajectory of an early-stage startup. But founders shouldn’t be spending weeks rewriting the same story for 50 different application forms instead of working in their business.
Simple idea, but a lot of time saved.
