Hey there Product Hunt! I am excited to tell you about The Green Book, the 2d cozy game I have developed alongside my wife. The Green Book is a cozy and magical adventure centered around growing and caring for unique plants. With a focus on relaxation and mental well-being, the game offers unique plant behaviors, customizable environments, and delightful mini-games. We've spent a lot of time recently on the topic of mental health and how games can help with that. We have had a lot of success in this area on our last project. And in this project the topic of mental health is a priority for us. So, we hope that in addition to entertainment, The Green Book will also help to relax and relieve stress. We’ve recently released a short demo. In the demo, you can try the basic mechanics of growing plants, grow 10 unusual plants and develop your own shop. It will take about 2 hours to unlock all the items, but it should give you an idea of what we are aiming for in the full version of The Green Book. The game is available for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android. You can download it on Steam and on Itch. We have also launched a campaign on Kickstarter, and hope to attract enough backers to finish the project. I sincerely hope that everyone who tries the demo will enjoy the game. Have a great day! @kyrylosilin thank you! These behaviors I mentioned most of it will be available in the full version only. For example, a plant with the skill of vampirism, can steal water from neighbors, and for plants of the tentacle species is destructive to bright light. Right now it's about different plants consume water differently, grow at different rates, at different times of day, some plants are more difficult to prune
