It's scam!!! Dont use it. They charged me for months without sending an invoice!! Also they charged a completely random sum that you can't retrace from their subscription types mentioned on their website.

Says they offer a 7 day trial for $2.95, then silently charges $24.95 during the naught hours of day 6 around 12 am. If you plan on keeping this service until day 7 then cancelling, you may want to keep the aforementioned in mind. Seems they likely charge purposely on day 6 on the chance that they can get in before you shut them out. Fortunately, the rep I spoke to was polite and effective, but the resume service itself is a bit shady, and unless you need a supreme resume with a ton of bells and whistles, this service isn't worth more than the resume template they offer for $2.95. Regardless, make sure you cancel within 3 days of ordering if you don't plan on keeping the service. Resume.io simply can't be trusted with any duration of time longer than that.

Don't sign up for the 7-day free trial lol it's a trap I put an alarm on to remind me to cancel the free subscription 12 hours before the 7 days was up to make sure I don't accidentally forget and they literally charged me BEFORE 6.5 days was even up. I was shocked to see a notification that $30+ AUD was taken out of my account. Such a rip off considering there are very limited designs (especially for .docx formats which is what all employers require now in order to run your resume through a machine).

BEWARE!!! I did not sign up for a paid subscription, yet I recently discovered over $500 charged to me credit card from RESUME.IO. I have phoned customer service multiple times over the last two months, in addition to sending emails to customer service. Each time it is as if they have never heard of me. They say they will pass along the information and have somebody get back to me, but they NEVER have. I tried to insist on speaking to somebody else the last time I phoned and was told there is nobody else to speak with, but somebody will get back to me. I was eventually assured they would 'cancel' my account and provide a refund. However, I just checked my credit card and there has been NO REFUND. Instead, there has been an ADDITIONAL CHARGE on my credit card! I am beyond frustrated. Perhaps those of us with negative experiences with RESUME.IO should band together to seek legal action as I'm sure they count on most people eventually just walking away in frustration. The views expressed are only my personal opinion based on my dealings with RESUME.IO, but the facts I have shared are 100% true.

After the subscription is finished you can no longer export your files in different formats, without even changing its content. Spend a lot of time just to realize it was actually a paid feature, why do I only know it when click final export?! Money’s back guarantee, in fact works for 7 days only, it’s hard to find flaws in the service when you are using it once a month

I am completely outraged and angry. Don't be fooled. They are offering a free 7 day subscription to steal from us. The subscription becomes paid (more than 30$ CAD per month), but no reminder or warning is sent. The payment is made via a third party which makes it very difficult to trace where the subscription came from. I have more than 18 months of charges even though I have NOT used the services of this site. I sent a message to customer service confirming that I did not use my account, but since I subscribed to the free trial, I cannot be refunded. WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT. THEY ARE THIEVES

Terrible customer support. Lost access to resume template I made, and they just began ignoring my requests to help with recovering access to account.

Resume.io was easy to navigate but kind of useless after awhile. The sneaky thing they do is offer 7 day trial and then not remind you of the end time so you get charged 30+ aud randomly. It's so insane and unexpected. After customer service they cancelled the subscription but did not refund me despite barely using it and explaining my experience. Pros: Easy to use Cons: A one done job site, resumes are good but the subscription price is so overpriced for what you get. And they don't remind you so be on your toes for that.
