I signed up for the 7-day trial thinking I could test the service without being charged, but was automatically billed for a monthly subscription without any clear warning or notification. There was no transparency around the pricing — I didn't see any clear mention during sign-up or in the follow-up emails that I would be charged unless I canceled.
I reached out to support for a refund, explaining that I never intended to subscribe and haven't used the service since, but they refused, citing a policy hidden behind the trial. Very disappointing customer experience and feels like a misleading billing practice. I don’t plan to use Resume.io again and wouldn’t recommend it to others based on how this was handled.
