Cool concept but far from the "definitive" list. I'm only seeing 15 acquired startups listed for all of 2016.
How are you sourcing/updating this list, @naeemol? Community submissions could be a natural fit, giving credit to the first person to post about an acquisition.
@naeemol@chadsnuts CB is already pretty straightforward and easy to understand - is your key differentiator that you'll have a nicer UX?

@kevinbryantlou@naeemol@chadsnuts Agree w/Kevin Lou that CB (www.cbinsights.com) already has comprehensiveness, curated categorization and infographic format, so not seeing value-add from Naeem's proposal.
Cool product! The UX is kind of confusing though. I was expecting to see companies that were acquired on the homepage not the companies who did the acquiring.
If that makes sense.

it's hardly definitive when Alphabet has 10, Apple has one, Alibaba has one...

Looks like you can add Whole Foods to Amazon's page now 😎
The lists are a little incomplete, example: Snap Inc also acquired Sceene, etc. Ultimately, if it's a payday you're going for, you can tailor your startup to be built in the image of the trends of these acquisitions for each company respectively.

Needs links to more deeper news, SEC filings or contributions additions. Great design, but won't replace something like Crunchbase for industry watchers.
