Due to evernote free plan change (no more than 2 devices) I'm looking for some other note taking app and this might be a decent switch, but there's no way to see my notes from notebook (no app/web version?)..

@shlajin Web and native versions are being worked on. We are testing it internally. They are not stable enough for the release. Will post here on PH when we have a decent version ready.

Beautiful design!

I noticed that you put together a dedicated page for how Notebook compares to Evernote. Do you have any plans to allow importing from Evernote into Notebook? I have so much info in Evernote at this point, that splitting it between two apps is definitely not worth it. If I had an easy import option, I would definitely be more inclined to use Notebook in a serious way. Also, what are you plans for other devices like Tablets and Desktop?
Raju Vegesna
@skywinston The Evernote import tool is ready. OAuth part is being worked on. We will post a 'Import from Evernote' button on that page to import your data.

@rajuv Good to know. Also, I've just noticed that there are spy-shots of tablet and desktop products at the bottom of your Evernote comparison page.

@rajuv, I really like that there's an audio notes portion of the app. What are you guys using on the backend to host and stream back files that are recorded?

Awesome app - what is the business model ? - excellent UI (I would add an option to hide the "show all notes" on top left front page, just my 2 CHF cents) :)
Raju Vegesna
Thank you, @steveraffner. Regarding the business model, I briefly expanded on it in my comment here. https://www.producthunt.com/tech... Hiding 'Show all notes' is a good option. We will provide it in the settings section. Thank you for your suggestion.

@rajuv you rock so hard core !

Lovely app guys, where is the data stored?
Raju Vegesna
Thank you, @stevenlaw The data is currently stored in multiple data centers in US (CA, NJ & TX). For European users, we are provisioning couple of new data centers (Amsterdam & Dublin). Should be live in about a month. Data won't leave EU, when served from our European data centers.

Looks pretty good interface. Perfect timing to switch from Evernote. Are you going to release Mac app anytime soon?
Raju Vegesna
@atharmajeed We plan to launch the Mac version in couple of months.

This looks great. For me though I really need the iPad Pro and Pencil support (which I know is coming). I hand write all of my meeting notes and store them currently in EN. This does look like a really engaging and good new option.
Raju Vegesna
@steve_brigden1 Thank you for your feedback. I totally agree with you on iPad Pro keyboard. We will change it. We designed the backend to support tags. It is not available on the client yet. We will support it moving forward. Can't promise any date yet. Too many things on the plate :)

Very nice looking! Congrats! Just two comments: 1. For the Android version, I think it would be better using a expandable FAB instead of the bottom action bar as it has been used in many material apps. The bar (being black) is easily confused with the navigation bar. 2. If someone adds a note to particular notebook I think it should be inside it and not visible in the outside. The notebook covers are great and should be valuated. Will keep using it!
Raju Vegesna
@chrisdevq Thank you for your feedback. We debated a lot about your first point. I am pretty sure there is going to be further discussion on it internally. Regarding your second point, the note cards are added inside notebooks. But we do provide an additional 'View All Notes' section as we found that to be very useful during usage.
