Is website-wide text search an SEO tool or a broader content-operations tool?
I recently built WowOwl, a tool that searches an entire website for specific words or phrases.
You enter a website URL and one or more keywords, and it scans the site to show:
• Which pages contain the keyword
• How many times it appears
• The surrounding context
• Downloadable CSV and PDF reports
I originally built it because Ctrl+F only searches one page, while Google’s site search does not always find every page or provide accurate occurrence counts.
I am currently experimenting with the following pricing:
• Free quick scan
• Additional free scans after signing in
• ₹49 one-time payment for 5 scans
• ₹99 one-time payment for 15 scans
• ₹149 per month for Pro
The one-time plans include all Pro features because I believe many users may only need the product for a website migration, content audit, rebranding project, or a few client websites.
I would love feedback from other founders, SEO professionals, and agency owners:
Would you prefer a one-time scan pack or a monthly subscription for a tool like this?
Also, what would make you use it repeatedly rather than only once?
I’m especially considering change alerts, agency workspaces, and white-label exports.
