The reality of being a solo founder
I'm building WorkZo AI completely on my own.
Over the last few months I've been:
designing the UI
writing code
fixing bugs
talking to testers
creating demo videos
handling marketing
learning things I never expected to learn
Some days feel amazing.
A new feature works.
A tester gives positive feedback.
The vision feels real.
Other days I'm staring at an error for hours wondering why I started this in the first place.
One thing I've learned:
Building the product is only part of the journey.
Staying consistent when growth is slow is much harder.
I'm still early.
Still learning.
Still improving the product every day.
But every tester who says "this feels like a real interview" reminds me why I started.
For founders further along than me:
What was the hardest phase of your startup journey, and how did you get through it?
