Why I built WidePlayer

I built WidePlayer for X because videos on x.com are often too small in the feed, but fullscreen breaks the browsing flow.

The extension keeps the original player, moves it into a wider responsive overlay, and restores it cleanly when you close it.

I’m looking for feedback from people who watch a lot of videos on X: should this stay automatic by default, or should manual controls be more visible?
