Hi Product Hunt, I’m Tobias, founder of BlazingBanana Ltd. I built Whistle Enterprise because some meetings need a proper written record, but the recording shouldn't have to go through a cloud service to get one. Whistle is a desktop app. It records a meeting, transcribes it locally and then writes the meeting up into a structured document on the same computer using a fine tuned local model. It is built for law firms, advisory teams, compliance leads, HR, research interviews and internal business conversations where privacy matters and people still need a useful record afterwards. A few practical details: * Windows, macOS and Linux builds are available now. * It is built to run on normal laptops, with an i5 CPU and 8GB RAM as the minimum spec. * It can record live meetings or import existing audio and video files. * The generated document can be exported as PDF, Word or Markdown. * There is a full 30 day trial, with no card and no account required. * Licences are perpetual and include a year of updates. I’d really appreciate feedback, especially from people who have had to deal with meeting recordings, confidentiality, retention policies or tool approval inside a company.
