This is great. I'll definitely replace wappalyzer with this. My one request, that I didn't realize I used with wappalyzer until I lost it with this, is the extension icon in the toolbar being swapped out with the "top" (however that may be concluded) technology on each site. Great job guys.
Jijo Sunny
@chasegiunta Thanks Chase! Appreciate the kind words. And of course, we do not swap the icon with top technology. It'll always be our cool logo ;)

Ditched Wappalyzer :)

This is cool.

@imdaeshawn Thank you Daeshawn!

Does it work for sub-domains? Like if I go to store.office.com, it shows only the technologies used for office.com.
Jijo Sunny
@sornakumar Yes, WR currently considers subdomains as a part of the main domain. Most users like to know the full tech stack of a website. If there is a blog at blog.company.com and if it is using Intercom, it can be a useful data. I hope this makes sense. Anyway, we will definitely address this concern and think about adding an option for subdomain separation.

This looks awesome!! Gonna try it asap
Jijo Sunny
@mrashleyball Awesome! 😁 Thanks Ashley.

Just tried this and I love the look and the clean UX. If the data is as good as BuiltWith, I will switch. :)

Pros:

Great clean look

Cons:

takes a few seconds to load. Not a big deal

Love this, agree that BW can be inaccurate. We've been using that and other tools to get new account info for users to recommend integration steps with other apps. Is there a way to capture and export the data you're pulling from sites?
Jijo Sunny
@mattragland Hi Matt! Thanks for showing interest. Our sales platform is just getting ready for a private beta. Can you drop us a line with your requirement so that we can work something out before its public release? Here's our email: hello [at] whatruns.com. Cheers!

Good extension. Are you building a database that will eventually let me search websites that use a particular tech? builtwith is actually great for that, and also is similartech.com
Jijo Sunny
@mikerubini Thanks Mike! Yes, we’re on it 💯
Mike Rubini
@jijosunny Good! Please keep me posted, I'm interested in that ;)
Jijo Sunny
@mikerubini Done! 👍

Nice; looks very clean. (A little bit like larger.io.) Do you have plans to offer a web version, for those who don't want to install extensions?
Jijo Sunny
@tomcharde We do, Tom. However, it is further down our roadmap. We started with extension as developers/designers found it especially handy for a quick look-up while working on their projects. Thanks!
Abhilash Jain

Its brilliant. It gives you a quick breakdown of what the site is made up of.

My personal fav is that it tells you which theme a Wordpress site is using upfront also shows the extensions used.

Must have for marketers / anyone interested in webdesign.

Pros:

Beautiful Design, Easy to Use

Cons:

None I can think of
