We launch Tuesday. What would make you open an AI companion a second day?
Hi, I'm the solo founder behind Wedelia. We go live here on Tuesday, September 8.
The short version: every AI chat app I tried had goldfish memory. Close it, come back, you're strangers again. Wedelia keeps the thread. In the demo on our page, I ask her "Did I tell you about Mochi?" and she answers with the cat's breed and what Mochi does on my desk, then asks me a question back. That reply was generated live from 11 facts she had stored from earlier chats, and every one of those facts is visible and editable on her Memory page.
She also has a daily life you can see (writing by the window, piano, reading), talks by text or voice in English, Japanese and Chinese with one voice, reads books with you, and builds small things on request (games, timers, a mansion to wander).
Before launch day I'd rather hear what's broken than what's nice. Two questions for anyone who has used Replika, Character.AI, Nomi, Kindroid or similar:
What made you stop opening it? Was it memory, tone, price, or something else?
2. If she remembered everything but got one thing wrong about you, would you rather correct her or delete the memory?
You can try the click-through demo now:
Free to start on iOS and Android, rated 18+. Product Hunt readers get 3 months of Plus free with the code WEDELIAPH until October 8.
See you Tuesday.
