Webflow Site Search - Design & build custom search for Webflow sites - visually

Hey, everyone! I’m excited to announce we’ve added a powerful search engine to Webflow. Since the launch of our Visual CMS, we wanted to give non-developers the ability to easily integrate powerful search technology for their content heavy websites. And since this is seamlessly integrated into the Webflow platform, websites can benefit in several areas: 1. Front-end design. You’ll have complete design control over the search input and results page — all visually in the Webflow Designer. 2.Indexing controls. We’re giving you full control over your search index. This means you can exclude pages, CMS Collections, and even individual elements from your search engine. 3.Relevance. Most platforms like Wordpress and Drupal offer relatively basic search when it comes word stemming, and stopword recognition since they are based on SQL search. We wanted to take it a step further buy building it on top of Elasticsearch from the start to support world class relevance and accuracy. 4.Cost. It’s included with any Webflow CMS or Business hosting plan. We’re hoping site search (and other exciting things we have in the pipeline), will make it much easier for everyone to create powerful web experiences without code. Let us know what you think!

Webflow continues to amaze. :) My company's site, https://www.gethue.co/, is built on Webflow, and I don't know what we would do without it. Simply incredible.

The ability to add elastic search so easily to your site is amazing. Elastic search is great and you just drop in an element, style it, then style your results page and your ready to go.

The really powerful part comes in the UI giving you the ability to easily exclude certain content, pages, and collections from search just by ticking the box.

If you're looking to build a killer site and want a killer search option. This is for you!!!

Nope. They don't exist.

Webflow is in a league of its own when it comes to site builders. Amazing product.

I have used webflow to build a web development and marketing company. I would simply not recommend any other platform to my network. This makes wordpress seem like AOL.

Pros:

Easily build an entire CMS website from scratch or template with customized search ability.

Cons:

Lack of third party developers - though this just means all features on the platform are supported by the developers.

Oh man, this is just sensational.... Webflow goes from strength to strength and does so on the reg!

Pros:

Removes cost, time and effort of integrating Third Party search!

Cons:

Not a whole lot at this stage!

Use it, try it and love it. Webflow is the way to go.
