I use volley daily. I came across it about a month ago and love the idea and the implementation. I use it with my team, my friends, and have been trying to get my MBA alumni on it! I love it. 💯 recommend it!
Yes. And Greg was a huge help in giving us a lead on our transcription technology from his vast background in parsing millions of conversations.
Its like the best of Slack and Zoom. Love being able to see people and talk and have more personal interactions but not live video.
Well put. That's exactly what we're going for. You get it!
I really love this product. I'm a daily user! It really is the best team communication tool for our remote teams. It has meant less meetings for us but more personal conversations.
Solid. It's amazing how much personal connection on a remote team is lost in the space between Slack and Zoom. It's cool you're rocking Volley as your daily driver.
I have never been able to move work forward with less interruptions or regularly scheduled meetings than I have since working with . Thanks for asking me to be a part of the team
I'm just honored that you would be willing to come out and play.
It's been my pleasure. It only took those first 3 or 4 volleys back-and-forth to convince me of the amazing potential, and that was with our beta product. Look where we've come since then.
I love Volley — it makes perfect sense for communicating more personally with community members. Added bonus, is an awesome person, and all Volley’ers get special Volleys from Josh, featuring his big smile and fun energy. Thanks to for putting it on my radar + Josh and team for building a useful tool.
Volley team, huge fan here. My question would be around benefits of live convos vs asynchronous convos. Almost everything can be done asynchronously, but what are the things that should still be done in real time?
In my opinion there are 2 things that are just better synchronous - 1) emotionally charged conversations and 2) things that require a tight feedback loop (usually time bound decision making). for everything else, there's Volley!
So pumped for this launch! Just starting to use this with my team to create higher bandwidth for idea exchanges. Normally, we have to fit calls in at night or early in the morning but with Volley we can talk throughout the day on our own time.
So good! I love to hear this
An amazing way to connect effectively with busy people. Also love how I don’t have to have a meeting or phone call for everything. Makes work more productive.
It's amazing how addicted we were to making a meeting a solution to everything. I remember, back in the corporate world, people bragging about how they were "Back to back all day" like it was a badge of honor.
yes! Agreed! I think Volley and the EOS Level 10 meeting is a GREAT combination. Going to talk about that, as a guest, on someone’s podcast today.
Thanks , , and the Volley team for realizing a product that makes my team more efficient at realizing our own product. It's a breath of fresh air to see a product that feels human, natural, real - from the landing page to onboarding to the actual use of the product itself. One issue though - my conversation with my identical twin looks like I am just Volleying with myself. Just saying it's a bit awkward for all of us that work with our identical twins. I look forward to hearing how you intend to address this. :)
We'll get right on that ;). Thanks for the support Darren!
If anyone can solve for the twin thing, can. and thanks for making our product look even more amazing with your killer 3D video app. I can't believe we let Volley live in a 2D world for so long :)
Your product deserves to shine and we're honored to play a small part in showing people it's magic. Can't wait to watch it fly with our upcoming Interactive Product Experiences. :)
Nice Work
