It’s great to see the launch of tools that enable AI-assisted building of n8n workflow! This will greatly improve n8n's construction efficiency and enable workflow to be quickly delivered to real-world scenarios!
As someone who’s built and scaled n8n workflows for both clients and internal products, I can confirm the pain is real: long chains break, debugging burns hours, and adding even small snippets of code can derail momentum. Vibe n8n feels like the exact bridge between “idea in plain English” and “production-ready workflow.”
What excites me most is the dual value you’ve nailed:
Onboarding for beginners → lowering the fear factor of that blank editor screen.
Sparring partner for advanced users → faster debugging, smarter patterns, less context switching.
If the AI keeps accuracy high on custom code nodes, this could become a default layer for serious n8n builders. Huge congrats on pushing the ecosystem forward! 🚀

I noticed in your demo video that you're on a custom domain? Is that your self-hosted n8n? Could someone have their own UI hosted in that way, too?
When using the chrome extension on n8n.io (the actual website of n8n), does it appear the same way as a chatbot panel on the right side of the browser?
@0xphoenice Yes exactly! You can enable it on your own self-hosted n8n domain, or just use it directly on n8n.io / n8n.cloud. In both cases, it appears the same way — as a chat panel on the right inside the editor

Hey Maxime! Great work. I was actually thinking of building something similar.
This is exciting! As someone building and debugging complex n8n workflows, this sounds super helpful. How do you use Vibe n8n in practice—can you really create, modify, and debug flows just by describing them in plain English? How well does it handle custom code nodes or unique automation setups?
@sneh_shah Thanks! Yes, that’s exactly the idea. With Vibe n8n you just describe what you want in plain English and it generates a complete workflow you can import directly.
It’s not limited to “simple” flows either you can ask it to add, modify, or debug parts of an existing automation. For custom code nodes, it will actually generate the code for you inside the node (JavaScript, Python snippets, etc.), and if you already have something unique in place, you can tell it what to keep and what to change.
Basically, instead of spending hours wiring nodes and fixing small bugs, you just iterate with prompts and the assistant takes care of the heavy lifting.
I couldn't agree more with the other comments. What a missing piece. It doesn't seem to work for me though. Every time I try to run it it keeps asking me to login and the Google Authentication doesn't appear to do anything.
