Velo 2.0 - Instantly turn your voice and screen into shareable videos

by
Velo 2.0 is a whole new way to make video messages. It turns raw screen recordings into polished videos and docs, with a chat-native editor, real-time processing, voice cloning, and smart script rewriting. Edit by chatting, not timelines. Record once and get both a video and a doc. Write a script even when there is no audio. Change tone anytime. Everything updates live, so the whole experience feels faster, easier, and more natural.

I used Velo 1.0 quite a bit, and it was already solid.

This release feels very different. A lot of the manual work is just gone.

The agentic chat interface and streaming are really nice upgrades.

@agrim123 excited for you to try it out

Users might love integrations with Notion and Linear so docs / tasks can be auto-created from recordings.

Sourav Sanyal

@syed_shayanur_rahman Yup we are launching an MCP that connects to everything and auto integrates and reasons

I tried Velo and it made creating video walkthroughs really fast and simple. The AI editing and voice features save a lot of time, especially when you don’t want to re-record again and again.

@bhavyapandya Thanks Bhavya, really glad you liked it! Would love to know what you used it for.

Himani Sah

This feels like a mix of Loom + Descript + AI docs together. :D

Sourav Sanyal

@himani_sah1 The whole idea was to pull in the entire workflow to one place

Anant Gupta

As someone who makes onboarding walkthroughs weekly, this would save me HOURS if the doc output is actually usable. I will give it a spin!!

Sourav Sanyal

@iamanantgupta Would love to hear your feedback after you try it

Nuseir Yassin

Can it detect filler words and automatically tighten the narration?

Sourav Sanyal

@nuseir_yassin1 Hey welcome back on our 2nd launch, yup it does all of that and you can rewrite the whole script too so that in can include a fully new script based on additional context.

Kumar Abhishek

I’ve been using @Descript for a while and this feels directionally similar, but more async-first.

Sourav Sanyal

@zerotox Yes and no editing timelines

Roop Reddy

How well does it handle messy recordings where people switch tabs constantly? :')

Sourav Sanyal

@roopreddy If you do not speak while switching tabs then we auto edit that part out
