I built Vela because running a small operation means being your own CFO, ops manager and inbox janitor. Vela takes the repetitive half: it imports your statements and keeps an honest P&L per business, watches inventory and unpaid invoices, drafts supplier emails, turns ideas into execution steps, and runs routines on a schedule.
Two things I refused to compromise:
Consent. Small internal things confirm right in the chat. Anything that leaves Vela — an email, a calendar write, a dollar — stops at your approval queue. Nothing sends without you pressing Approve.
Honesty. If Vela can't verify a number it says so instead of sounding sure. If a month has no data it tells you rather than inventing a quiet one. Every screenshot here is the real product on a demo account.
