Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Leigh Ann, founder of Vanday.
I spent 15+ years in digital asset management — onboarding teams at everyone from 5-person shops to household-name brands — watching them buy great DAMs and STILL lose the creative they paid for. So I built the one I always wanted.

Love that the smart-crop keeps faces in frame. Such a small thing but it means the team actually thought about how creatives use these assets day to day instead of just shipping a search box.
@pfeliciadicvjqn Appreciate that! This is where the time suck often comes in for teams - the goal is to actually optimize their workflow! The can easily be used for any social channel they need to distribute to.
Pulled a folder of product shots in and the smart crop actually kept the logos centered on every variation, which is a first for me. Nice to see a DAM that doesn't feel like it's built for a Fortune 500 archive team.

How does the AI tagging actually hold up for more niche product categories like handmade ceramics with weird angles and textures? Curious if I'm going to be re-tagging half of it anyway.
@ebuvet28169 This is the part to come. The AI tagging today is great for telling you what is in the image, the mood, etc. The next piece is a vocabulary that will be able to recognize and label a brand's specific product imagery.
Though right now, handmade ceramics works great!
That auto-crop on upload sounds like a small thing but it solves such a real headache. Love that it was clearly built by someone who's watched the same workflow go wrong a hundred times.
