Hi Product Hunt! 👋 About a year ago, I went down the rabbit hole of Memento Mori philosophy. It changed everything for me. It gave me the kick I needed to go back to school, start learning web/app development, and finally stop putting off my dreams. I built unLived because I wanted a tool that didn't just tell me 'you're going to die,' but instead asked: 'what are you doing with the time you have left?' The Memory Lane is the heart of the app for me. Since I started using it, I’ve been much more conscious about making sure every single month has at least one moment worth 'pinning' to my life story. As this is a hobby project, I’m not in it for the money—it’s free and ad-free. I’d honestly love to hear your thoughts, constructive criticism, or any feature ideas you think would make the journey of conscious living even better. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏 "It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it." — Seneca

@gergo_t The Memory Lane concept is really compelling—turning mortality into a prompt for intentionality rather than dread is a smart design choice. The fact that it's nudging you to curate meaningful moments monthly speaks to something deeper than productivity tools usually touch. Curious if you've thought about how people might discover patterns in what they're actually pinning versus what they think matters to them.

@osakasaul Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad that others can see my goal: to motivate people (including myself) to pick out the best memories from each month and write a brief account of them. I think this is the only way to truly preserve memories and look back on the beautiful, the good, the successes, and the struggles. The truly precious moments get lost among the thousands of photos in the gallery.

Looking at my own example, I see that ever since my goal has been to have something to post on Memory Lane every month, I’ve been planning my months a little more consciously so that I can always post a truly beautiful moment about my family, friends, traveling, etc.
