Will muslims pay for Islamic dream interpretations?
Hey guys & salam (peace),
I'm taking a 12-month break from my corporate UX design job to build tools that benefit the Muslim community and democratise access to traditional Islamic knowledge.
Dreamstate is a tool where you can interpret your dreams Islamically. It is trained strictly on Ibn Seerin’s classical work (trusted by Muslims for over 1,000 years). You input your dream, answer a few context questions, and get a symbol-by-symbol breakdown with a dream interpretation and advice.
From a product perspective:
- Serves genuine need in a niche community (hyper targeted user + problem + solution)
- Built on authentic classical sources and developed alongside a religious authority (trust + community building)
- Options for monetization + scaling tech and user base (Islamic economy is a trillion dollar untapped market)
For those interested in trying it, the first 3 dream interpretations are free.
What do you think of this as a product? Will Muslims pay for Islamic dream interpretations?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
