One of the things I love about Tethral is that we are building it to fix the problems of incompatibilities, abandoned and unsupported tech, and competing ecosystems.
But to make that as good as it can be, I'd love to hear about any of your IoT problems. What isn't working in your current setup? What problem makes you NOT want to deal with IoT?

Hi John,
Thank you for bringing this kind of “vibe” to the IoT space. It really feels like you’re pushing the technology forward, and ideas like this give people like me (not very techy) a much friendlier way to approach it. It also makes me think about how much easier this would make things for my parents.
Regarding your question, the biggest pain point for me has always been dealing with products that should be compatible but end up having technical conflicts. That’s usually what makes me not want to deal with IoT yet.

Thanks for the comment! I couldn’t agree more. Iot should be accessible to anyone, that’s what motivates to put the vibe so prominent in the design.
Anyone - regardless of skill- will be able to just tell the system the feeling or moment you want and watch the magic happen.

One of my main pain points with IoT is dealing with so many different brands, protocols, and ecosystems. Even though I actually like this stuff, I just don’t have the time to manage all those pieces and make them work together, I just want it to be simple. Another struggle for me is coming up with automation ideas. Sometimes it feels like you need a spark of creativity to even know what to automate, and that ends up becoming a barrier instead of something that helps.

So true! Time is such a finite resource, we looking to give people back time instead of spending hours of it on setup and maintenance.
