Tip: Use the draft function to avoid launch issues!
Hey community!
I wanted to share something I've been noticing a lot lately that might save you some headaches.
Please use the Draft function instead of scheduling your posts right away!
I see this happen all the time! People schedule their launch and then forget about it. Our team reviews all scheduled posts 24 hours before they go live, and we keep finding incomplete ones. Missing images, empty descriptions, you know the drill. When that happens, we have to remove the post, and then we get messages asking what went wrong.
The thing is, Draft and scheduled posts work exactly the same way. You can edit everything, add images, update descriptions, whatever you need. The only difference is that it won't land in our review queue in an incomplete state!
So here's what works much better: create your post as a Draft first. Add all your stuff, take your time to make it look good, maybe sleep on it. Then when you're actually ready and everything looks perfect, schedule it.
I promise this will save you from the frustration of having your launch removed and having to explain to your team why you need to start over.
Hope this helps!

That's a solid tip!
I didn't see this in the Product Hunt Launch Guide, glad to hear more about the Draft feature and how it works.
Will keep this in mind before our launch.
Great tip, thanks for sharing! btw, do you think more makers would avoid issues if PH highlighted the Draft option more prominently during setup?
