Recreational developer from the UK says hello!

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm from the UK, work full-time in research, and do some programming on the side for fun. I've always enjoyed tinkering with small projects, learning new tools, and building things that scratch my own itch.

One of those projects is ResizePal - a dead simple browser-based image resizer and converter. I built it because I kept running into bloated tools when all I wanted was something quick and straightforward (and free).

Appreciate this isn't a huge engineering effort, but this little project gave me a chance to learn more about web development and experiment with ideas I'd been curious about: such as learning Angular and hybrid SSR, setting-up a virtual machine and even creating a little vector logo.

It's launching tomorrow, and I'd love to hear what you think! And, being a tad cheeky, if you do give it a whirl and feel like dropping a review, I wouldn't complain! 😊
