I broke the validate first rule!

by•

Hey everyone šŸ‘‹

I’m Erik from the Netherlands and a while ago, I started building something new.

Most people say: ā€œValidate first, then build.ā€

Well… I kind of did the opposite šŸ˜…

I’ve been working on a project that helps developers deal with Google and Apples appstore policy changes and app rejections, something I’ve seen frustrate almost every builder I know.

It’s already quite far along, it can prevent most of those ā€œYour app has been rejectedā€ emails. But now I want to validate if its really something the community needs.

So I just launched a small coming soon page to see if others feel the same pain, and learn if I’m on the right track.

I recently quit my job to focus on this, but I’m still not sure if I should look for a new one or go allin on this project.

I’d really appreciate your advice, what would you do in my position?

My advice would be to start splitting your time in half between dev and marketing, don't become yet another business that fails to launch! Good luck!
