How to plan a network rack
Hi there, its me ..your senior cableguy , i just wanted to show you how i planned and calculated a 27U rack with 3pcs of 48 port switches with redundant fiber in a large enterprise network.
Nothing fancy, but i challenge you to do the same under 2 minutes!

This also resulted in a little picking list i can use when order the stuff needed, example:
107pcs of 0.15cm grey patch cables
2pcs of 0.15.cm blue patch cables
2pcs Fiber Patch Cable 1m SC/LC SM 9/125
2pcs Fiber Patch Cable 0.5m LC/LC SM 9/125
6pcs of SFP LX Transceiver (Single Mode)
