Claude is amazing at writing code. But how are you guys actually saving it?
Hey everyone, 👋
I think most of us agree that Claude’s coding capabilities are top-tier right now. But I’ve been struggling with a massive bottleneck in my workflow: saving the actual output.
Whenever I try to copy-paste a brilliant piece of code or a technical breakdown from Claude into Notion or Word, the formatting gets completely destroyed. The syntax highlighting disappears, tables collapse, and I waste time manually fixing everything.
I couldn't find a good tool that just worked, so I built one: Claude Exporter.

We just launched it today! It’s a simple extension that lets you export selected messages (or full chats) directly to PDF, Word, Docs, or Notion in one click—keeping all the code blocks and formatting perfectly intact.

I’m really curious about how other developers and makers here are handling this. Are you just putting up with the broken copy-paste, using Notion web clippers, or something else?
If you want to check out the solution I built, here is the link to our launch: https://www.producthunt.com/products/claude-exporter-save-claude-chat
Would love to hear your thoughts and workflows! 👇
