Building a local-first memory for your AI conversations — would love early feedback!
by•
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m getting ready to launch ChatEngram, a browser extension that turns your ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok and Perplexity conversations into a private, searchable memory that lives entirely on your device.
It auto-captures chats across platforms, lets you search everything from one place, and optionally syncs to Obsidian / Notion / Google Drive.
I’d love to hear:
How do you currently keep track of your AI conversations?
Do you save them somewhere, or just let them disappear?
What features would make a tool like this genuinely useful for you?
Thanks so much — your early feedback means a lot before the launch! 🙏
Happy to answer any questions or share more details.

Thanks for taking a look! Many users have had AI chats vanish — blocked accounts, removed history, disabled export.
It made one thing clear: your conversations should be yours, not rented from an AI platform, your AI chats are part of your thinking — you deserve to own them.
If you’ve ever lost conversations, I’d love to hear your experience.
