As a former resident of Istanbul, I can see this being an attractive alternative, especially if traveling with friends. I only wonder where the pickup/dropoff points will be - public quays? And if so will Uber be paying some kind of tax to use them?
Interesting to see yet another possibility of Uber. I love how they're experimenting with all these different on-demand things, tailored a certain city.
