I wish I could double upvote this. I just ran some numbers. Recently @andreasklinger added product images to the tweets shared on @ProductHunt. As a result, engagement rates (favorites, RT's, clicks) have almost doubled. @BelleBCooper wrote a great post on the impact of images on Twitter a while ago in How Twitter’s Expanded Images Increase Clicks, Retweets and Favorites [New Data].
