Anyone building in AEO/GEO/AI search space? What's the key problem here atm?

by

Hi! I'm Daria. I've been experimenting in AI visibility for over a year and a half now.

Back then, before Profound, Peec, and the rest raised their rounds, before Semrush, Ahrefs, and that whole crowd showed up, the problem was just measuring mentions correctly.

Then every marketer figured out how to build their own tracker with Claude. The question shifted: ok, I show up (or I don't), now what?

That's when the research into recommendations and actions started. Everyone's taken a different angle:

→ some went technical, checking whether crawlers can even access the site

→ some focused on Reddit, since a lot of mentions trace back there

→ some went into PR, because trust was the missing piece

Still unsolved. Genuinely complex problem.

My take, two things matter most:

1️⃣ Whether the model associates you with the right topic in the first place. The semantic position. So you show up consistently across every variation of a prompt, not just one lucky one.

2️⃣ What content you actually publish to become visible.

That's what we're building at Turbine.

What's your take?
