Daily deep work planner based on Cal Newport's timeboxing method. Drag and drop scheduler, to-do lists, accountability tracker, Notion-style notes, and Google calendar syncing - all in one place.
π Hey hunters I'm Rohan, the maker behind timebox.so! Here's a little bit about why I made it!
π§ Problem
I've been timeboxing for the past three years, ever since I read "Deep Work" by Cal Newport. Since then I've filled up over 7 notebooks with hand-drawn daily plans exactly as Cal describes in his book. But... I had no easy way to move to-do's to the next day, save to-do's for later, sync my schedule with my Google calendar, or keep track of how consistent I was... it was a mess!
π οΈ Solution
So what did I want? I wanted Cal's timeboxing method online. That's it. And that is exactly what timebox.so is!
π Me
I'm a SWE working from 9-5 on AI products for enterprise and 5-9 on indie projects! I spent about 2 months making this in my nights and weekends so feel free to let loose with constructive feedback, feature requests, bug reports, or anything else!
π My Goal
I really hope this site helps you become more productive and worry less :)
@a_zelenkov Hey Alexander β yeah I have a persistent feedback button on every page + open email (timeboxso@gmail.com) which I use to directly respond to bug fixes / feature requests!

Congrats on the launch, Rohan! It's awesome to see someone taking Cal Newport's timeboxing method and turning it into a practical digital tool. The drag and drop scheduler sounds like a game-changer for organizing daily tasks, and syncing with Google Calendar is a huge plus!
Your journey resonates with so many of us who have felt overwhelmed with traditional planning methods. The accountability tracker feature is something we all could benefit from. Itβll be interesting to see how other Makers on PH respond to this.
Two months of hard work is impressive, especially while balancing your 9-5! π₯³ Hope to see more features roll out in the future. Keep up the great work! #PHCommunity

Congrats, Rohan! Excited to see timebox.so launch! Timeboxing is such a game-changer for productivity. Can't wait to test this out with my Google Calendar! π
Congrats Rohan on launching timebox.so! Love the idea of bringing Cal Newport's timeboxing method online. The drag and drop scheduler looks super handy! Can't wait to try it out. Upvote!
Hey Rohan,
How you've implemented the drag and drop scheduler? Does it allow for easy rescheduling if unexpected tasks come up during the day?
I'd love to hear more about the accountability tracker feature.
How does it help users stay consistent with their deep work goals?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Hey Kyrylo I've used SortableJS + react big calendar! Yeah you can easily move around the events like on Google Calendar.
Accountability tracker is essentially a big dashboard with all the deep work hours broken down by category, duration, time of day, day of week etc.
Defo give it a go I have a live demo available on timebox.so/demo!

Hey Rohan, this looks fantastic! The way you've integrated Cal Newport's timeboxing method into a digital platform is so valuable. I can totally relate to the struggles you faced with managing those notebooks β moving tasks around and syncing with Google Calendar can be a hassle.
Your approach of combining a drag and drop scheduler with accountability tracking is something many of us in the productivity space have been hoping for. Itβs great to see a solution that not only prioritizes productivity but also makes it visually appealing and easy to use!
I'm definitely excited to start using timebox.so. For future features, maybe consider adding some analytics on how my timeboxing impacts my productivity over time? Thank you for creating such a useful tool, and kudos to you for balancing your day job with indie projects! Looking forward to seeing where this goes!
