This Site's Been Breached! is a simple extension to warn you if the site you're currently visiting has been affected by a data breach, and provide relevant context. You can then dismiss warnings, and the extension will let you know if a new breach occurs.

Hi everyone - I'm Gordy - creator of This Site's Been Breached! This Site's Been Breached! is a simple Chrome extension that lets you know if the site you're currently visiting has been affected in a data breach. If the site has been affected, the extension provides some additional context (number of people affected, description of the breach, types of data leaked, etc.). The extension also lets you dismiss a breach nudge, but will then re-notify you if a new breach for a given site occurs. This Site's Been Breached! is easy on CPU and memory, and doesn't hog system resources like many Chrome extensions. Credit where it's due... This Site's Been Breached! relies on the Have I Been Pwned breach database to determine when to show a notification. Personally, I use this extension as a simple nudge to let me know when I should update my password for a site. I built this extension for myself first, but thought others might find it useful as well! Enjoy!! 🚀
