PS - I was COO at UserTesting for 8 years building the #1 feedback tool for Product Managers, Product Designers, and UX Researchers. With TheySaid I'm fixing all of the product problems I had at UserTesting, giving you a truly next-level experience. ❤️

Anisa Jamal

@chrishicken I’ve used TheySaid since the early beta and this update looks like a massive step forward. The new AI insights engine seems smarter and the new UI looks stunning.

Chris Hicken

@anisa_jamal Thank you!!! You'll love 3.0 because it includes all of (not "most of", all of) the top most requested features. Appreciate your support.

Amy Long

Thanks @anisa_jamal look forward to hearing your feedback once you've tried out the new features!

ROHITASH SINHA

@chrishicken Congrats Chris & team! 🎉 TheySaid 3.0 is a massive leap - love how you’ve unified voice, usability testing, AI insights, and beautiful forms into one powerful platform. The AI Sidebar + Teach AI combo is a real game-changer. Excited to see this transforming how teams gather and act on feedback.

William Mills

If customers share sensitive product feedback how do you ensure its never used for model training?

Chris Hicken

@iamwilliammills TheySaid isn't a model company (so we aren't doing any training). We use best-in-class models to help you gather and analyze feedback. However, we do optionally allow you to upload context (websites, PDFs, docs) to our system that AI can use to ask much better follow up questions, or provide better insights. We don't train on this data, but the output from AI is significantly better when this context is available.

Aizy Camon

I’m curious how this compares to something like Maze or Dovetail. Both offer insights and testing, but your AI moderator idea sounds much more conversational.

Chris Hicken

@aizy_camon you nailed it. TheySaid puts an "AI moderator" in a conversation with customers. That lets you do user tests, interviews, surveys, or even forms assisted by AI. And all this can be done at scale, with all the data funneled and analyzed in one place. We're different because we really are the "everything app" for feedback.

Ramish Nadeem

How does this scale in terms of pricing?

Chris Hicken

@ramish_nadeem pricing starts with a free plan. Paid plans are designed to unlock features as your company needs expand. Paid plans start at $49/month and scale up from there.

Grace Bates

Conditional logic + AI follow-ups is a smart combo but how much control users have over that logic though.

Chris Hicken

@gracebates we give users TONs of control. You can implement our super slick conditional logic, but we also let you control how much follow up AI is allowed to do. And you don't have to just trust that it will follow up correctly, you can test and preview AI responses before you turn it on!

Nika

Sounds like more in-depth revealing of the user's requirements. Have you already teamed up with some interesting companies using this?

Chris Hicken

@busmark_w_nika thanks Nika, yes we support tons of companies including Software, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Travel & Entertainment ... basically any company that gathers feedback is a great customer for TheySaid. Some examples are Pendo, UC Santa Cruz, ZoomInfo, Alta Medical, Microsoft, Samsara.

Nika

@chrishicken Is Microsoft your user as well?

Ch Umair

It's amazing how you create such a natural sense of engagement. By the way can Theysaid also analyze sentiment or pick out recurring themes from the conversations?

Chris Hicken

@ch_umair01 yes! We have 3 different AI dashboards to help you analyze trends and sentiment. But also 3.0 includes "Ask AI", which allows you to ask AI anything about your project, including creating custom reports on the fly. It's super powerful.

Woody Robles

Full 2 way voice support sounds like overkill for surveys. What problem is that really solving?

Chris Hicken

@woody_robles AI is probably overkill for taking a survey on a computer. But if you plan on asking for feedback from people on the go (on mobile or in the car), voice is a fantastic way to give people a hands-free way to fill out a survey or form.

Amy Long

@woody_robles when you think of old school surveys it would be, but we've leveled up to AI surveys, interviews and user tests. For an AI moderated interview or an AI User Tests it's necessary and changes the game. I would love for you to give it a try and share your thoughts.

Kushagra Gupta

Seems like a lot of features packed into a single product. I am confused how the AI automatically fills the forms while you are working on it as well?

Chris Hicken

@kushagra_gupta18 It's an optional sidebar that pops out, and it guides the user through the form. It's super cool, fun, an innovative!

Tim Hillison

Congratulations, @Theysaid, and @lihong_hicken ! Looking forward to trying out what's new!

Chris Hicken

@tim_ep1 thank you for the love!
