Validating before building, honest feedback wanted on Tallylark

by

Hey PH community, I'm building Tallylark (automated invoice reminders for freelancers, $9/mo) and following a validation-first approach before writing a line of product code.

The problem: freelancers lose 102 hours/year chasing late invoices. Every existing tool (InvoiceSherpa, Chaser) costs $49/mo+ and is built for finance teams, not solo operators sending 10-15 invoices a month.

What I've done so far:

  • Landing page live at

  • Waitlist running with referral system

  • Posting in freelance communities to test messaging

Would genuinely love brutal honest feedback from this community:

  • Is $9/mo the right price or too low/too high?

  • What would make you close the tab on the landing page immediately?

  • Is there an obvious competitor or objection I'm missing?

  • Would you pay for this or just live with manual chasing?

Not looking for validation, looking for the holes in the idea before I build it.
