StoryWeave v0.7.0: clearer author-controlled long-form writing flow
I shipped StoryWeave v0.7.0 today.
This is not a relaunch. It is a product update focused on making the writing workflow clearer for long-form fiction.
What changed:
- Chapter planning now follows a Snowflake-style structure.
- The workflow stops at scene expansion before drafting, so authors have enough structure to write without turning the product into a one-click novel generator.
- AI-assisted drafting is optional and lands in the editor first.
- Export uses only chapter text the author has reviewed and saved.
- AI Review reads saved chapter text and returns an issue report without modifying the project.
- The old Scene workflow has been removed to avoid mixing two planning models.
StoryWeave is still aimed at authors who want structure, continuity, and control, not fully automated writing.
