Splitwise - Share bills and IOUs - make sure everyone gets paid back

This would have been super useful for me in college when I lived with three roommates.

This is probably the most underrated app I've used in years.

We just used Splitwise for our trip to Prague (11 people) - the app was brilliant. Good job guys.

Splitwise is my go-to for all bill splits these days. Very handy and is feature-packed, with new updates often.

Definitely useful. Used this with my roommates when I had them. We had been using BillMonk, but nobody seemed to be supporting the product anymore after it got sold to Obopay.

I use this product for personal as well as professional purposes. Love it!

A friend introduced me to split wise while we were vacationing and it's an amazing app. No more mental notes on who paid for what.

Works great in office when we are ordering food or go out for tea :)

Must plan to make money on the number of transactions as it seems designed to maximize the number of transactions rather than simplifying the bill splitting process.

It makes splitting bills unbearably complex. Incessant emails and transactions of immaterial amounts, passing money back and forth.

Too complicated. The app dies when you try to use it offline. No way of settling your debts in one currency.
