I made Sotion because @syedaliahmed, who's a customer of my other startup, https://cloak.ist, wanted to password-protect the investor data room for his startup Robomart, which was hosted on Notion.
I set up Ali's solution last week and then realised there could be a product here, so I created Sotion!

@sotion@louis_barclay Thanks Louis, I continue to be amazed at how quick you deploy. This has to be a record turnaround from when we discussed the problem to you having a solution. Amazed to see if turn into a new product, I am certain this will take off as it provides a much needed solution to a problem that Notion aren't addressing themselves.
I see multiple use cases, the first being a private investor data room, but it could also be a safe way to share client docs, updates to large communities/groups, and a portal for teachers to share content with students, etc.
Excited to see what's next for Sotion!
