Hello, my name is Jake Findi. Real estate has always been my passion, and SaaS came later. One thing I consistently struggled with was document and contract management. Files were scattered everywhere, and whenever I needed something urgently, I found myself searching and guessing where I had stored it. The real problem wasn’t where documents lived, it was how hard they were to find, trust, and act on when it actually mattered. At first, we thought better cloud storage, “the Drives,” you know them, would solve it. It didn’t. You can’t truly automate, e-sign, or build workflows the way teams need. So I asked myself: why not build a tool that becomes a single source of truth for all this chaos? That’s how Fortva was born. I didn’t start Fortva to build “just another document tool.” We built it because we kept seeing the same problem everywhere, teams running on scattered files, buried contracts, and relying on that one person who “just knows where things are.” Building Fortva wasn’t easy. There were real challenges, I went through five different developers before we got it right. I wanted something my team and I could actually use: simple, powerful, and without unnecessary complexity. Instead of building a filing system, we built a system that thinks with you. Fortva uses AI to instantly surface the right document, highlight what matters, and remove the friction between “I need this” and “here it is.” What started as a simple tool became something bigger: a way to eliminate operational chaos and give teams clarity, speed, and control. My team and I are excited to finally share it, and even more excited to hear your feedback.
