What makes a screenshot and screen recording app worth having on your Mac?

I’ve been building SoloSnap, a free macOS app for screenshots, screen recordings, camera recording, and simple media tools.

One thing I keep coming back to is this: a capture app has to be useful enough to be worth having on your Mac, but simple enough that it does not get in your way.

For SoloSnap, I’ve been focusing on a few things:

Fast screenshots.
Reliable screen recording.
Multiple capture modes.
Camera recording when you need it.
Simple media conversion tools.
A native Mac feel without turning the app into a bloated studio.

I’m building it as an independent developer, so feedback matters a lot.
