Hi everyone, we're really excited about this launch together with our friends from . Silk has always allowed people to start by uploading data from spreadsheets and CSVs, but you can now extract data from any structured website and get it into Silk with just a few clicks. We have tons of examples of this in : it works great for product listings, restaurants, sports listings, etc. Once the data is in Silk, it's easy to analyze, visualize and share the results. How are you guys extracting data from these websites?

Data extraction is done with the 'magic' feature that import.io offer in their API. After that Silk gets the data and brings it to live! Lovely combination, easy extraction + beautiful visualization!

Looks like an intriguing mashup. What are some beneficial uses for an internet marketer/startup-founder?
So all growth hacking has data at its core. This integration makes it crazy easy to not only extract useful data but also organize and visualize that data. For example, one of the extracts that work is Kickstarter Projects (try this URL - ). Say that you are marketing to Kickstarter teams. You can quickly pull in a whole bunch of projects, understand what areas are raising the most money, what geographies are the most interesting and also track trends in that arena. Not to mention this automates lead capture. Does that make sense?
