I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you all for the love and support on our launch!

It's truly a special moment when other resonate with the problem you're solving and the way you're solving it.

With that said, our Product Hunt launch was a HUGE success and I want to share some wins, tips, and tricks 🔥

We had 3 goals going into the launch:

The actual results are better than we could have imagined:

If you’re planning your own launch, there are plenty of guides out there, but here’s my quick take:

Start planning at least a month in advance to fine-tune your strategy and start engagement
Get active in different communities and forums like Product Hunt (be authentic)
Find someone who is willing to be a Hunter to help increase visibility (shoutout @dbul)
Design a few impactful slides that highlight your differentiators (start tweaking those asap)
Create a catchy tagline, description, and pinned comment (tagline is crucial so start refining that now)
Rally direct support by contacting everyone you can at least 2 weeks in advance (users, founders, etc)
Amplify your launch throughout your network and on socials for the full 24 hours!

Here are a few insights that I didn't realize till the day of launch or shortly afterwards:

PH will remove some upvotes/comments from brand new accounts, so have your supporters create accounts ahead of time
Finishing top 5 for the day actually got us a lot of unexpected media coverage that otherwise wouldn't have happened, so definitely worth aiming for top 5
