4 gaps we found in 16 public SEO reporting resources

We audited 16 public SEO report templates, dashboards, workbooks, and reporting guides using a fixed public-page coding rule. Four findings stood out:

3/16 offered a direct download without an account.

4/16 documented AI-search visibility.

1/16 documented an approval workflow.

How do you prioritize opportunities in a GSC CSV export?

I kept running into the same problem after exporting Search Console data: sorting by impressions creates a long list, but it does not answer which signal deserves the next hour of work.

I built a local-only workflow that separates five review queues: striking-distance queries, site-relative CTR gaps, rising demand, decay, and page-level opportunities. The rules are deterministic and each result keeps the observed evidence separate from the recommended check.

It also avoids guessing a query-to-page relationship from separate Queries and Pages exports. That needs to be verified inside GSC.

The free tool runs in the browser and the CSV rows are never uploaded:

Which field is most often missing from client SEO reports?

We reviewed 16 public SEO reporting resources and found a clear gap after the metrics: only 2/16 publicly documented an owner or due date, 2/16 exposed a confidence or caveat field, and 1/16 described an approval workflow.

For people who send client reports, which missing field creates the most follow-up work: ownership, approvals, a work-completed log, or confidence notes?
