Hi all! I recently launched a Shopify app called Address Validation iO, and I d love to share what it does and get your feedback if you run a Shopify store.

What it solves:

Customers often enter incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses, which causes failed deliveries, support tickets, and refund requests. This app validates and auto-corrects addresses before the order is placed.

How it works:

We launched @Will - manages your social media here on 11 April.
So it's now about one month since our launch, and we've reached around 320 users by now.
The initial influx from PH was a nice start, but then it still took a lot of manual work to get in new users. Fortunately, we still get new users on a daily basis and we also have a bit more than a dozen paid users by now.
We mainly get them from 1-1 outreach and LinkedIn posts. But we've also tried some other experiments and we have even more lined up.
We probably launched a bit too soon to get a lot of traction on here, but in general, the timing was probably just right to get useful feedback and make the right product choices since our launch.
Will allows you to write and publish LinkedIn posts via WhatsApp, by the way. With the help of AI, of course.

A while ago, I kept getting failed deliveries and "return to sender" issues in my Shopify store. Most of the time, it was because of small address mistakes from customers missing house numbers, wrong postal codes, PO boxes in restricted areas, etc.

So I built Address Validation iO (AViO) a lightweight app that checks and validates addresses directly in the Shopify checkout. It s helped reduce shipping issues a lot and has saved us from refund headaches.
