Today, I have launched my very first SaaS product - BreakGround on producthunt - https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
But why I am posting here is because of a different reason. Wanted to share what all I learnt while building this solo in 2.5 months from scratch.
As you all know, AI capabilities for coding has seen significant improvement since last 6 months, but still just asking it to build you an app doesn t cut it. You can take the vibe coded software only till certain extent, not to production. You still need to have good understanding of software development in order to get it right. Me being a former software engineer for first 4 years and Product manager since last 5 years really helped. Claude code was something I heavily relied upon. So much so that I maxed out its 20x max plan even when they were providing double limits in non peak hours 3-4 weeks back. Here are some of my learnings. Feel free to DM me to talk more about it or challenge it. Open to discussion.
- Need a well structured audit loop to challenge what AI codes. Some people use codex to audit what claude writes. But, for me even claude s separate agent works well for auditing.
It s a proof-based external vulnerability scanner for startups, SaaS teams, fintech products, and lean technical teams.
The problem I m trying to solve is simple:
Most small teams ship fast, but they don t always know what their external attack surface looks like. Traditional scanners often return long noisy lists, but not enough clear proof, context, or business impact.
Hey I built Prmptree, an AI agent that connects to your Gmail and runs in the background every hour. No prompts needed.
It automatically archives clutter, unsubscribes from mailing lists, flags urgent emails, and drafts replies to personal emails. You set the trust level from full approval control to completely autonomous.
Free to try at prmptree.com. Looking for honest feedback from anyone with a messy inbox.
I woke up to a nasty bill because an agent looped overnight. All the usual tools (alerts, soft budgets) only reacted after the damage was done. So I built baar-core: lightweight library that checks budget before every API call.
Raises exception locally
No DNS, no TCP $0 charged on overrun
Semantic routing (84% savings)
Per-user SQLite quotas Just launched on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Open source: pip install baar-core Would love feedback from anyone running agents or multi-tenant LLM apps in production.
I'm Amal Omar late-diagnosed ADHD, founder, and someone who has frozen in high-stakes moments and had to rebuild from there.
I'm building an ecosystem for the neurodivergent community that no one else is building end-to-end.
Neou is the intelligence layer an autonomous AI agent, a Prosthetic Prefrontal Cortex, that monitors executive function and acts on your behalf. It reschedules meetings, protects recovery time, and runs your day around what you can actually handle.
