Most professionals don t stall on AI because of the models they stall because they don t know when to trust what the model is saying.
There s a growing AI confidence tax :
You ask an AI a medical, legal, or financial question, then spend more time double checking than the AI saved you. Each model (GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) can sound very confident even when it s wrong or hallucinating. For doctors, lawyers, and engineers, a single wrong answer can mean real risk, so many end up not using AI at all or only for trivial tasks.
Ten years ago, I dropped out of studying Analytical Chemistry at a Kenyan University because I couldn't see a future in it. I looked for any Analytical Chemists I could find in the country, but couldn't find any. Plus, we are an agriculture-based economy. So what was the point? It felt like time-wasting.
Broke, desperate, I started doing iWriter content gigs. I had never written before, but I always felt I would be a great teacher in another life, so I figured I'd try.
Got decent at writing. Then discovered SEO paid way better. So I turned to YouTube university, spending late nights, learning on the job.
The problem is that in 2015, no Kenyan companies cared about SEO. So I pulled spreadsheets, listed small US companies, and sent a simple pitch: "Make your company 24-hours. While you work, I sleep; while you sleep, I work." Timezone arbitrage.

Together with a team of 8, we ve just launched sou.zip , a travel souvenir discovery service we built as a side project over 6 weeks.
Finding souvenirs has always been harder than it should be. Most information is scattered across blogs or social media posts, and search results usually show only generic, country-representative souvenirs.
heya folks we're working on Visualife, an AI life agent built around visualization. (iOS app available for now)
The idea is to help people see how different parts of their life connect like time, habits, mood, health, goals, spending, instead of just tracking them in isolation.
A lot of teams rely on tools like Calendly or Cal.com for scheduling.
From your experience, what feels most limiting or frustrating about the tools you use today, if anything?
Could be pricing, customization, workflows, integrations, availability rules, or something else entirely.
We are building Kalendar.work - it's completely, free and what's even more interesting about it is that you can use the platform we used to build it to vibecode any feature you want.

Votap Ltd. was selected as a Top 5 finalist in the LVLUP Ventures Operations Master pitch competition, sponsored by Notion. The challenge was simple: submit a sub-5-minute pitch video no live pitching no second chances Out of all submissions, we made the top 5. This is a massive confidence boost for us especially this early. Next, we ll keep refining our pitch, story, and strategy inside the Grishin Robotics accelerator over the next month. Curious?
