Building MartinLoop — an open-source control plane for AI coding agents.

The problem: AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode) have no built-in brakes. They retry indefinitely, rack up cost, and give you nothing auditable at the end. I had a run estimated at $2.40 hit $65 before I caught it. MartinLoop wraps any agent with: Hard budget caps (USD, tokens, or iterations) Verifier gates npm test must pass before a run counts Full audit trail every attempt, cost, and outcome in JSONL Run receipts one command shows exactly what happened and why it stopped It's open-source, TypeScript, works in 5 minutes alongside your existing setup. Would love feedback from anyone building with AI coding agents especially around how you currently handle cost control or verification. martinloop was originally created to solve the agent loop and ralp loop problems. What's broken for you? for me its runaway agents working with infinite loops its constant task drift on large context work agent teams being less productive than single agents consistent and reliable output from coding agents that is PRD ready never understanding what is actually happening with claude, needed a receipt and brakes. Anyone else tired of manually checking local rankings with proxies?

Honestly, this is something I ve wanted for a long time. Manually checking local search rankings with VPNs, proxies, or browser location changes gets tedious really fast especially when you re tracking multiple cities for local SEO campaigns.

One thing I m curious about is how accurate city-level SERP simulation actually is compared to physically searching from that location. In some markets, rankings seem to vary a lot even between nearby neighborhoods.

A few things I d personally love to see in tools like this:

mobile vs desktop SERP simulation
ZIP/postcode-level targeting
map pack visibility tracking
side-by-side city comparisons
historical local ranking snapshots

How Educational Institutes Can Use Accessible Digital Flipbooks in 2026.

Schools, colleges, and universities publish more content than almost any other type of organisation. Course materials, syllabi, student handbooks, admissions brochures, research publications, campus guides, newsletters - and the vast majority of it gets distributed as a static PDF.

A standard PDF sent via email or posted to a learning environment isn't screen-reader friendly by default, doesn't reflow well on mobile, and puts up real barriers for students with reading differences.

Around 100 people visited the site on launch day. I still cannot tell you what a single one of them did.Not because analytics are hard. Because I never wired up one event. I knew how many people landed and roughly where they came from, and absolutely nothing about whether anyone got value out of the thing I spent months on.The uncomfortable part is that on launch night, traffic felt like a result. It is not a result. The only number that would have told me anything is how many visitors completed the core action, and I did not have it.I spent hours live fixing it. Tiny table, anonymous events, "did the product do its job" and nothing more. No login, no cookie banner, no identity. Took an afternoon. Should have existed before launch day, not after.What surprises me is how little this shows up in launch checklists. Everyone talks about the hunter, the timing, the first comment, the gallery assets. Almost nobody says: make sure that on launch night you can answer "did anyone use it", not just "did anyone visit".For context, I build SpecPilot, a spec-driven development tool that works fully without an account. No login is great for conversion and terrible for measurement, which is how I ended up in this hole.Two questions for people who have launched here:What is the one number you actually watch after launch day, and did you have it ready beforehand or learn the hard way like me?If your product works without signup, how are you measuring activation without turning it into a tracking exercise?

Everyone seems to be building AI SDRs.

Launched on MS Store 10 days ago - turns out it's just a download button, not a marketing engine

Hey Product Hunt Launched StreamVox on MS Store 10 days ago thinking "Microsoft has 1 billion Windows users, this will be easy!"Narrator: It was not easy.What I builtWindows app for real-time translation with live subtitles. Works with Zoom, YouTube, gaming, phone calls - basically any audio. Built it solo because international meetings without subtitles suck.10 days later:- 180 store page views- 82 downloads (45% conversion - actually good!)- 65 active users- $0 revenueWhere users came from:- ~140 views: Me posting links on Reddit/Twitter/Facebook- ~20 views: Product Hunt (thanks!)- ~10-20 views: Organic MS Store searchI searched for my own app. "Translation app" - buried under Microsoft Translator and Google Translate. "AI subtitles" - nowhere to be found.The algorithm loves established publishers. Makes sense for quality control, but creates chicken-and-egg: no visibility without reviews, no reviews without users, no users without visibility.Plot twist: payments don't workUsers want to upgrade to Pro. They click the button. They get "Page not found."Everything shows "Complete" in Partner Center. Sandbox testing works. But live payments? Broken.My account is 3 weeks old. I think Microsoft locks IAP for new accounts (anti-fraud?) but there's zero documentation. Forum posts suggest waiting 30-45 days.So I have 5-10 users ready to pay and literally can't take their money. Cool cool cool.What I learned:MS Store is great for distributing your app once people know about it. Auto-updates, trusted platform, easy installation.But discovery? You're completely on your own. I'm spending 70% of my time marketing now. Reddit comments, demo videos, engaging communities. The other 30% is building features.Also pivoting messaging: originally "accessibility tool" (noble but hard to reach). Now "watch anime without waiting for subs" because that's who's actually using it. Easier audience to reach.Next moves:- Integrating Paddle this week (5% vs MS Store's 15%)- Selling Pro directly via streamvox.pro- Keeping MS Store as free tier delivery- Focusing on gaming/anime communities on RedditQuestions:1.
